The Challenge -The Background
India’s dominance of IT and software as a world leader over the last 2 decades has created a huge opportunity for talented engineers ,technocrats in the key cities identified with software and IT development in India like Bangalore , Hyderabad, Pune, Guru gram, Chennai and so on . This in turn has created a cascading effect on other allied services to cater to this spurt in IT growth story.
Overall – there is a burgeoning population of young ,aspirational , ambitious fresh from college or few years of work experience knowledge workers and service industry workers – who needs the best of amenities available in a luxury condominium yet can’t afford to pay for the rent individually and are years away to own their dream luxury apartment .They want the good food ,recreation , socialization, sports activities and leisure space post the hectic day’s work schedule .They look for safety , good internet connectivity ,music ,entertainment and above all comfortable living .
Currently there is a mushrooming of Paying Guest (PG) accommodations that have come up in a much unorganized manner near the IT hubs in the cities to cater to this demand .The less said the better about these so called PGs . Typically these are unplanned; extension /modification of existing houses or buildings constructed with blatant violation of local authority and safety norms. There are cramped, overcrowded rooms to maximize the profit with hardly any of the services aspired by these young workers.
The Game Changer Approach:-
Here comes a revolutionary game changing Concept – of Smart connected Co living Space – Architecturally well-planned, scalable, and replicable and with the latest communication system (data & voice), security, and entertainment facility in common area and the desired comfort and energy management.
Scope of Work:
Design & Built of ELV System, which includes CCTV camera (active & passive), Wi-FI network within the building, security system/ access control into the building, Network infrastructure for all media equipment within the building, Recommendation of all network equipment within the building, including TV’s in each room, the recommendation of smart features to optimise utilisation of AC, Geyser and other higher power-consuming equipment during the absence of user in the space.
